Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of 1 Consumer Protection may adopt regulations in accordance with the 2 provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes to regulate occupational 3 licensing within the cognizance of the Department of Consumer 4 Protection. 5 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: Section 1 from passage New section Statement of Purpose: To allow the Department of Consumer Protection to adopt regulations concerning occupational licensing.
