AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF ELECTRONIC BENEFIT
TRANSFER CARDS AT CERTAIN ESTABLISHMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit public 1
assistance beneficiaries from using electronic benefit transfer cards at 2
liquor stores, casinos, other gaming establishments and adult 3
entertainment venues. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To promote beneficial use of public assistance benefits.
