AN ACT FUNDING THE STATE -WIDE FIREARMS TRAFFICKING TASK
FORCE BY REDUCING CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM GRANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to reduce Citizens' Election 1
Program grant amounts and that moneys equal to such reductions be 2
redirected to the Department of Emergency Services and Public 3
Protection for the purpose of restoring funding to the state-wide 4
firearms trafficking task force, established pursuant to section 29-38e of 5
the general statutes. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to the state-wide firearms trafficking task force.
