AN ACT CONCERNING TIME FRAMES FOR BINDING ARBITRATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require all binding 1
arbitration cases proceeding pursuant to section 7-473c of the general 2
statutes to conclude within a six-month time frame from the 3
commencement of the proceedings and that such time frame be 4
extended only upon mutual agreement of the parties, for not more than 5
one three-month time frame. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To amend time frames for binding arbitration in Connecticut.
