AN ACT REQUIRING ALL STATE AGENCIES TO INCLUDE CERTAIN
QUESTIONS RELATING TO VETERAN STATUS ON STATE FORMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require all state agencies to 1
include the questions: "Have you served in the military?" and "Do you 2
need any assistance?" on state forms. If the second question is answered 3
in the affirmative, the state agency shall refer the answering individual 4
to the Department of Veterans Affairs and the federal Department of 5
Veterans Affairs. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require all state agencies to include certain questions relating to
veteran status on state forms.
