AN ACT CONCERNING ROOM TEMPERATURES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) allow tenants, including, 1
but not limited to, residents of dormitories, group homes and other 2
residential facilities, to use reasonable methods to maintain the 3
temperature of their dwelling unit below a certain temperature during 4
the warmer months, including air conditioning, and (2) designate a 5
reasonable maximum temperature for dwelling units for the warmer 6
months. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To allow tenants to maintain a reasonable temperature range in their
dwellings.
