HIGH ROOM TEMPERATURES IN RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS.

Explanation 
The bill establishes a fifteen-member task force to study methods to 
alleviate dangerously hot room temperatures within residential 
buildings that contain multiple dwelling units, including dormitories. 
The study shall recommend affordable and energy efficient methods to 
cool such buildings to provide a comfortable and safe environment for 
residents. 
The task force shall submit its findings and recommendations to the 
housing committee by January 1, 2022. 
This bill has no fiscal impact as PA 17-236 prohibits transportation 
allowances for task force members.
