AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY ISSUES 
RELATED TO PROTECTING MIXED-USE BUILDING RESIDENTS AND 
OCCUPANTS FROM SECONDHAND SMOKE. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That a task force be established to study and make recommendations 1 
concerning issues related to protecting and safeguarding occupants and 2 
residents of mixed-use buildings from harm caused by secondhand 3 
smoke, especially residents and occupants who suffer from impaired 4 
respiratory function or another respiratory disability. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To establish a task force to study and make recommendations 
concerning issues related to protecting and safeguarding occupants and 
residents of mixed-use buildings from harm caused by secondhand 
smoke, especially residents and occupants who suffer from impaired 
respiratory function or another respiratory disability.
