AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SYSTEM TO IDENTIFY THE MOTOR
VEHICLE REGISTRATION OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES
FOR PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a system to identify 1
a motor vehicle registration of each member of the armed forces having 2
a residence in the state and notify the municipality where such motor 3
vehicle is located to remove such member's motor vehicles from the list 4
of property to be taxed by such municipality. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a system to identify the motor vehicle registration of each
member of the armed forces residing in the state and notify the
municipality where such motor vehicle is located to remove such motor
vehicle from the list of property to be taxed by such municipality.
