AN ACT ESTABLISHING SENIOR SAFETY ZONES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 54-261 of the general statutes be amended to add 1
facilities serving senior citizens, including, but not limited to, senior 2
centers, to a community response education program regarding the 3
threat of sex offenders and that section 54-258 of the general statutes be 4
amended to add senior centers to entities notified of registered sex 5
offenders in the community. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To protect senior citizens by informing them of sex offenders in the
community.
