AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SOCIAL AND
EMOTIONAL LEARNING PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to establish a social 1
and emotional learning program for preschool and grades kindergarten 2
to twelve, inclusive, and that such program incorporate the findings and 3
recommendations included in the report of the Federal Commission on 4
School Safety. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a preschool through grade twelve social and emotional
learning program as a proactive educational program of school and
societal violence prevention.
