AN ACT PERMITTING BOARDS OF EDUCATION PARTICIPATING IN A COOPERATIVE ARRANGEMENT TO BE RECOGNIZED AS A SINGLE SCHOOL DISTRICT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 10-240 of the general statutes be amended to permit, 1 upon approval of the State Board of Education, two or more boards of 2 education that have entered into a cooperative arrangement, pursuant 3 to section 10-158a of the general statutes, to be recognized as a single 4 school district. 5 Statement of Purpose: To permit two or more boards of education that are part of a cooperative arrangement to be recognized as a single school district.
