AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A SEWER LINE IN BOZRAH WITH A
CONNECTION INTO NORWICH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
five million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Economic and Community Development for the purpose 5
of providing a grant-in-aid for the implementation and construction of 6
a sewer line in Bozrah with a connection into Norwich. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the construction of a sewer line in Bozrah with
a connection into Norwich, in order to address environmental issues
and allow for increased economic development.
