AN ACT CONCERNING COSTS OF STORING TENANTS' PERSONAL
PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 47a-42a of the general statutes be amended to allow a 1
landlord to seek reimbursement from an evicted tenant for the actual 2
costs of storing such tenant's personal property. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow landlords to recoup the costs of storing the personal property
of evicted tenants.
