AN ACT IMPROVING ACCESS TO A SEXUAL ASSAULT FORENSIC
EXAM FOR A MINOR WHO IS A VICTIM OF A SEXUAL ASSAULT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate obstacles that may 1
prevent a minor victim of sexual assault from getting a sexual assault 2
forensic exam and to empower such individual with the knowledge of 3
how to seek such an exam. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate obstacles that may prevent a minor victim of sexual assault
from getting a sexual assault forensic exam and to empower such
individual with the knowledge of how to seek such an exam.
