AN ACT REPEALING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF PA 20 -1 OF THE
JULY SPECIAL SESSION, ALSO KNOWN AS THE POLICE
ACCOUNTABILITY ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 52-571k and 54-33o of the general statutes be repealed 1
and that the amendments made to sections 53a-22 and 54-33b of the 2
general statutes by public act 20-1 of the July special session be repealed. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To repeal certain restrictions on law enforcement and protect officers
and municipalities from frivolous lawsuits.
