AN ACT PROHIBITING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENTS FROM
PREVENTING THE DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION RELATING TO
CLAIMS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a settlement 1
agreement relating to claims of sexual harassment or discrimination 2
from including any provision that would prohibit the disclosure of 3
information pertaining to such sexual harassment or discrimination. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the inclusion in any settlement agreement of any provision
that prevents the disclosure of information pertaining to sexual
harassment and discrimination.
