AN ACT CONCERNING FAMILY REUNIFICATION FOR CHILDREN IN
TEMPORARY CUSTODY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND
FAMILIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17a of the general statutes be amended to require that 1
children in the temporary custody of the Department of Children and 2
Families be reunified with a parent if a licensed psychologist 3
recommends reunification. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure timely family reunification of children in the temporary
custody of the Department of Children and Families.
