AN ACT CONCERNING FAMILY COUNCILS IN LONG -TERM CARE
FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require long-term assisted 1
living facilities to assist in the establishment and operation of family 2
councils in long-term care facilities to support open communication 3
with families and staff that will result in more positive and meaningful 4
care for loved ones. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require long-term assisted living facilities to assist in the
establishment and operation of family councils in long-term care
facilities.
