AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESSIBILITY OF INFORMATION ON
PROFESSIONAL BONDSMEN, BAIL ENFORCEMENT AGENTS AND
SURETY BAIL BOND AGENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a publicly available 1
database providing information on the licensure of all professional 2
bondsmen, bail enforcement agents and surety bail bond agents and 3
providing information on the appropriate licensing agencies. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To hold professional bondsmen, bail enforcement agents and surety bail
bonds agents accountable by making licensing information available to
the public and providing information on the appropriate regulatory
agencies.
