AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAL MARIJUANA REGISTRATION TIME 
PERIODS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to correct the registration 1 
period of medical marijuana registrations so that they are valid for one 2 
year, by amending section 21a-408d of the general statutes so that a 3 
qualifying medical marijuana patient's registration card is effective for 4 
one year from the date the Department of Consumer Protection issues a 5 
certificate of registration, rather than the date of the written certification 6 
issued by the physician or advanced practice registered nurse. 7 
Statement of Purpose:   
To correct the registration period of medical marijuana registrations so 
that they are valid for one year.
