AN ACT CONCERNING PATIENT ACCESS TO MEDICAL RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require (1) that information 1
regarding a patient that is obtained by a licensed eye care specialist be 2
included in the patient's medical records, and (2) that the patient be 3
granted access to such information and his or her medical records upon 4
the patient's request. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow a patient access to his or her medical records.
