AN ACT EXEMPTING PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FROM
THE SALES AND USE TAXES FOR THE DURATION OF THE COVID -
19 PANDEMIC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sale of and the storage, use or other consumption in this state 1
of personal protective equipment be exempted from the sale and use 2
taxes for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt personal protective equipment from the sales and use taxes
for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
