AN ACT REQUIRING EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF STATE FUNDS 
FOR DIAPER BANKS AND AUTHORIZING DIAPER BANKS TO SET 
THEIR OWN ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NEEDY PARENTS TO 
RECEIVE ASSISTANCE. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to ensure that (1) state 1 
appropriations to provide diapers to needy parents are distributed 2 
equitably to diaper banks state-wide, and (2) such diaper banks are 3 
authorized to set their own eligibility guidelines for needy parents to 4 
receive assistance. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To ensure equitable distribution of state funds to diaper banks state-
wide and authorize such diaper banks to set their own eligibility 
guidelines for needy parents to receive assistance.
