AN ACT INCREASING FUNDING FOR AGING IN PLACE INITIATIVES. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2021) The following sums are appropriated 1 
from the General Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, for the 2 
purpose of allowing more senior citizens to age in place at home: (1) 3 
Two million dollars to the Department of Social Services to expand 4 
access to the Connecticut home-care program for the elderly, and (2) one 5 
million dollars to the Department of Aging and Disability Services to 6 
expand access to the Alzheimer's disease respite care program. 7 
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following 
sections: 
 
Section 1 July 1, 2021 New section 
 
Statement of Purpose:   
To increase state support for initiatives allowing senior citizens to age 
in place at home.
