Explanation
The bill enables residential care homes (RCH) to be considered a
home and community-based setting for Medicaid waiver purposes, in
compliance with federal regulations. This is not anticipated to result in
a fiscal impact to the Department of Social Services as RCH residents
will continue to receive services in their current setting.
