Explanation
The bill requires the Department of Energy and Environmental
Protection (DEEP), to submit to the Governor and the Environment
Committee, recommendations for: (1) recycled content requirements
for products sold in the state, and (2) for multi-state coordination in the
development of recycled content standards.
This is not expected to result in a fiscal impact since DEEP has staff
with expertise for this purpose.
