AN ACT CONCERNING CH ILDREN'S PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2021) The Commissioner of Children and 1
Families shall conduct a study to evaluate the efficacy of the programs 2
administered by the Department of Children and Families. The 3
commissioner shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 4
11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such study to the joint 5
standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of 6
matters relating to children on or before January 1, 2022. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2021 New section
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Children and Families to conduct a
study to evaluate the efficacy of the programs administered by the
