The amendment strikes section seven of the bill that would've
allowed any structural or mechanical requirements regarding a building
to be designed and engineered with integrated works of art. These
would've been a component of the project from the outset that would be
physically part of a building.
The amendment would require any desired art be retrofit into the
building after the fact and would be a much more expensive process.
