The amendment expands the town of Fairfield's allowable uses of
the conveyed land to include lease of the parcel of land, in addition to
the ability to sell the land in the underlying bill. This results in a
potential retention of asset and potential revenue gain subject to lease
terms for the town and precludes a potential asset gain and potential
revenue gain to the state, if the property is not sold.
