The amendment increases the compensation for part-time members
of the board of Pardons and Parole from $110 a day to $200 a day
resulting in a cost to the state. The total cost will be dependent on the
number of days worked by the part-time members of the board.
The amendment extends the Commissioner of Housing’s authority to
revoke, transfer, or convey property owned by a nonprofit organization
that received financial assistance from the Community Housing Land
Bank and Land Trust Fund, which is expected to have a potential
minimal fiscal impact. Dependent on future decisions by the
Commissioner of Housing, the state may gain use of an asset and/or
incur the minimal administrative costs of conveyance.
Lastly, the amendment makes changes to the Department of
Administrative Services prequalification application and bidding
processes that have no fiscal impact.
The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely
