AN ACT CONCERNING MINOR AND TECHNICAL CHANGES TO THE
WORKERS' COMPENSATION ACT
SUMMARY: This act makes many minor and technical changes in workers’
compensation law. It replaces the term “administrative law judge” with
“chairperson” in several places to clarify that certain actions are taken by the
chairperson of the workers’ compensation commission, rather than one of the
regional judges under the chair. It also makes consistent the allowed methods for
delivering notices required in the workers’ compensation process (i.e., in
accordance with CGS § 31-321).
