AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR A HANDICAP
ACCESSIBLE PLATFORM AT THE WATERBURY STOP OF THE
NAUGATUCK RAIL LINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4
Economic and Community Development for the purpose of providing 5
a grant-in-aid to the city of Waterbury to fund the design and 6
construction of a handicap accessible platform at the Waterbury stop of 7
the Naugatuck rail line. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the design and construction of a handicap
accessible platform at the Waterbury stop of the Naugatuck rail line.
