No Fiscal Impact
The amendment requires that the prohibition of restaurants and
catering businesses from providing or distributing single-use expanded
polystyrene food and beverage containers to customers not go into
effect until the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection
requires the implementation of multi-stream recycling in each
municipality. This is not anticipated to occur in either FY 23 or FY 24
and as such has no fiscal impact.
