Explanation
The bill expands the types of subscribers who must pay the
community access TV operations fee to include Internet access and
video streaming service subscribers. Currently, the fee is $5 per
subscriber.
This is not anticipated to have a fiscal impact on the state or
municipalities as it is expected to impact private third-party, non-profit
community access providers.
