Explanation 
The amendment, which specifies that any unemployment insurance 
benefits allowed pursuant to the bill be net of any benefits received from 
a labor union or employer during the labor dispute, could reduce or 
eliminate the potential cost and revenue gain to the Unemployment 
Insurance (UI) Trust Fund identified in the fiscal note on the underlying 
bill.  The impact is dependent on: 1) the amount of gross UI benefits per 
affected employee, and 2) the existence and amount of any labor union 
or employer benefits received during the labor dispute.
