General Assembly Substitute Bill No. 470
February Session, 2022
AN ACT CONCERNING CERTAIN VOTER REGISTRATION
INFORMATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. Subsection (b) of section 9-50d of the 2022 supplement to 1
the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu 2
thereof (Effective from passage): 3
(b) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes, any motor 4
vehicle operator's license number, identity card number [,] or Social 5
Security number [and any other unique identifier used for the purpose 6
of generating] on a voter registration record [, or added to such record 7
for compliance with the requirements of the Help America Vote Act, 8
P.L. 107-252, as amended from time to time,] shall be confidential and 9
shall not be disclosed to any person. 10
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage 9-50d(b)
