Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to enable homeowners to opt 1 for low-impact landscaping solutions such as rain and pollinator 2 gardens and xeriscaping without being subject to homeowners' 3 association or other local regulations that may impact the effectiveness 4 of such landscaping. 5 Statement of Purpose: To encourage low-impact landscaping that benefits the environment while protecting homeowners from rules or regulations that may affect the use and effectiveness of such practices.
