AN ACT CONCERNING COMPASSIONATE OR MEDICAL PAROLE
AND CREDITS AWARDED FOR RELEASE DURING AN EMERGENCY
DECLARATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 54 of the general statutes be amended to create a release 1
panel for determinations of medical and compassionate release, modify 2
standards used to determine when an inmate may be eligible for 3
compassionate parole release and establish a system for credits to be 4
awarded to inmates toward release from imprisonment in the time of an 5
emergency declaration. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To modify standards used to determine when an inmate may be eligible
for compassionate parole release and establish a system for credits to be
awarded to inmates toward release from imprisonment in the time of an
emergency declaration.
