Explanation
The bill, which requires the Connecticut Advisory Commission on
Intergovernmental Relations (ACIR), in consultation with the
Department of Transportation (DOT), to study the consolidation of
metropolitan planning organizations and submit a report by January 1,
2024, does not result in a fiscal impact as it is anticipated the ACIR and
DOT can meet the bill's requirements within existing resources.

The annualized ongoing fiscal impact identified above would
continue into the future subject to inflation.
