No Fiscal Impact
The amendment requires that all municipal law enforcement units
adopt a written policy reflective of the model policy developed
pursuant to the bill by April 1, 2024 and delays the effective date of
subsection (b) of section 1, resulting in no fiscal impact to the state or
municipalities as municipal law enforcement units have the resources
to meet the amendment's requirements.
