Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to provide increased financial 1 support to public institutions of higher education to enhance on-campus 2 student services and to increase the retention of graduates of institutions 3 of higher education in the state as residents of the state. 4 Proposed Bill No. 8 LCO No. 369 2 of 2 Statement of Purpose: To provide increased financial support for our state colleges and universities to enhance ongoing services on campus for all students, and to improve the state's efforts in the retention of graduates from the state's institutions of higher education.
