AN ACT REDEFINING THE STATE SPENDING CAP.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 2-33a of the general statutes be amended to redefine the 1
state "spending cap" to limit the growth of all state expenditures, 2
including off-budget items, and eliminate inflation as a factor in the 3
authorization of general budget expenditures under said section. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To redefine the state "spending cap" to limit the growth of all state
expenditures and eliminate inflation as a factor in the authorization of
general budget expenditures.
