No Fiscal Impact
The amendment, which reverts language in the bill that conforms
statutes on identified adoption to the Connecticut Parentage Act (PA 21-
15) by maintaining the gender-specific term “expectant mother” instead
of replacing it with “pregnant person” and the term “birth parent”
instead of “alleged genetic parent,” is not anticipated to result in a fiscal
impact to the State or municipalities.
