AMENDMENT LCO No.: 9522 File Copy No.: 42 House Calendar No.: 524 Senate Calendar No.: 58 Primary Analyst: RDP 6/2/23 Contributing Analyst(s): (NF) OFA Fiscal Note No Fiscal Impact The amendment, which reverts language in the bill that conforms statutes on identified adoption to the Connecticut Parentage Act (PA 21- 15) by maintaining gender-specific terms, such as “expectant mother” instead of replacing it with “pregnant person,” and the term “birth parent” instead of “alleged genetic parent,” is not anticipated to result in a fiscal impact to the state or municipalities.
