AMENDMENT LCO No.: 6755 File Copy No.: 517 Senate Calendar No.: 313 Primary Analyst: MR 4/26/23 Contributing Analyst(s): () OFA Fiscal Note State Impact: Agency Affected Fund-Effect FY 24 $ FY 25 $ Department of Energy and Environmental Protection GF - Reduces Savings in Bill Minimal Minimal Note: GF=General Fund Municipal Impact: None Explanation The amendment narrows the notice provision contained in the underlying bill, requiring the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) to provide newspaper advertisements in certain newspapers when there are changes to certain fishing regulations. This is anticipated to reduce the minimal savings to DEEP, starting in FY 24, identified in the underlying fiscal note since DEEP would still be required to publish newspaper notices when certain fishing regulations change. The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation and does not represent the intent of the General Assembly or either chamber thereof for any purpose.
