Explanation 
The amendment narrows the notice provision contained in the 
underlying bill, requiring the Department of Energy and Environmental 
Protection (DEEP) to provide newspaper advertisements in certain 
newspapers when there are changes to certain fishing regulations.   
This is anticipated to reduce the minimal savings to DEEP, starting in 
FY 24, identified in the underlying fiscal note since DEEP would still be 
required to publish newspaper notices when certain fishing regulations 
change.
