OFA Fiscal Note 
Eliminates Cost In Bill  
The amendment strikes the underlying bill and its associated fiscal 
impact and results in the impact described below. 
The amendment (1) establishes a Division of Fire Services 
Administration to succeed the Office of State Fire Administration, (2) 
expands the statutory responsibilities of the division, (3) changes the 
membership of the Commission on Fire Prevention and Control, (4) 
updates the commission's statutory responsibilities, (5) establishes a 
working group to make recommendations regarding the structure and 
operations of the Office of State Fire Marshal and the Office of Education 
and Data Management within the Dep artment of Administrative 
Services, and (6) makes various other conforming and procedural 
changes, all of which result in no fiscal impact to the state or 
municipalities.
