Explanation
The bill makes various, technical, and conforming changes to (1)
court-related matters, (2) inmate compensation, (3) retirement salary
statutes for certain judicial officials, and (4) ignition interlock device
requirements. The bill is not anticipated to have a fiscal impact.
House "A" removes sections that increased juror compensation and
that expanded a pretrial diversionary program, which eliminates the
cost to the Judicial Department, Department of Developmental Services,
Department of Social Services, and Department of Mental Health and
Addiction Services, resulting in the impact described above.
