Reduces Cost In Bill
The amendment strikes the underlying bill and its associated fiscal
impact and results in the fiscal impact below. The amendment expands
the authority of the State Contracting Standards Board (SCSB) and
creates conforming changes. The amendment eliminates the previous
requirement that the SCSB to provide oversight to quasi-public agencies
reducing the additional staff required and the cost of the amendment.
