AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE TRAINING OF LAW
ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN CRIME SCENE PROCESSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of one million seventeen thousand dollars be 1
appropriated to the Department of Emergency Services and Public 2
Protection, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 3
2025, to establish a comprehensive program to train law enforcement 4
officers in the areas of (1) forensic crime scene investigation and 5
processing, and (2) the collection and use of scientific evidence. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide advanced crime scene processing training to law
enforcement officers.
